What you will do
- Motor drives and braking for the winch
- Power conversion for the station, and power up the tether to the payload
- Hardwired safety circuits that do not depend on software
- Boards, harnesses and enclosures that survive heat, dust and rain
What you bring
- Five or more years designing power electronics that shipped
- Motor drives, converters and protection, with PCB design and bring-up
- EMC, thermal design and testing to a standard
- Safety-related or industrial controls work is a plus
