What you will do
- Lead the design of the envelope, sail, rigging and payload mount
- Size it for lift, wind and the payloads we plan to carry
- Choose materials, and work with fabricators until envelopes are repeatable
- Plan flight tests, read the data and decide what changes
What you bring
- Five or more years designing and testing flight hardware
- Work on aerostats, airships, balloons, gliders or drones
- Structures and aerodynamics, and the maths behind both
- You want to be in the field when it flies
